Public Comment Deadline Approaching

The deadline for public comments regarding the golf course Draft Environmental Impact Report [DEIR], is quickly approaching. All written comments must be received by July 20th. There is concern that the time allotted will not allow the community to properly address all of the critical issues involved with the proposed 229 house development. These include such elements as Air Quality, Public Services, Transportation & Traffic, Recreation and Aesthetics, to name a few.

The DEIR is not only complex in itself, the proposed project would impact residents of multiple jurisdictions, including the City of Los Angeles, City of Glendale, and the unincorporated County of Los Angeles. To view the document visit the Environmental Impact Report page of the SaveTheGolfCourse.org web site. Links to the DEIR have been provided. After viewing the DEIR if you are concerned about being able to meet that deadline, consider writing to the city and voicing your concern. Contact information for extension request letters is located at the end of this email.
