Montrose/Verdugo City/Sparr Heights Neighborhood Association Meeting

VOICE has been invited to present an update on the VHGC at the annual Montrose/Verdugo City/Sparr Heights Neighborhood Association Meeting on Thursday, November 10th.

Marc Stirdivant will be using a PowerPoint presentation to provide an update on the status of the golf course, the proposed 229 unit housing development, and Proposition O, the water bond passed by City of Los Angeles voters in 2004.  All are welcome.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Glendale Community College Womens's Golf Team on winning it's first Western State Conference Title in school history under Head Coach Greg Osbourne. Pattaporn Silawanna, Hannah Lee, Vicanda Ma and Thanawan Sriratchaya were named to the WSC All-Conference Team. Silawanna was also named conference player of the year.

Youth golf is important in our community and we are very proud of Lady Vaqs. For the full story, check out "Vaqueros make it a first".
