
Our mission is to preserve, protect, and defend the urban wilderness of Glendale and the Crescenta Valley for the benefit of future generations.
Glendale-Crescenta Volunteers Organized in Conserving the Environment (V.O.I.C.E.) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation formed in May 1997 in order to educate the public on environmental and conservation issues of importance to Glendale and the Crescenta Valley.
Today, V.O.I.C.E. enjoys the support of over 5,000 individuals who have signed a petition, made a donation, or volunteered to help with our efforts. V.O.I.C.E. has been endorsed by the Glendale Homeowners Coordinating Council, representing fore than 20,000 homeowners in Glendale, as well as the Angeles Chapter of the Sierra Club.
V.O.I.C.E. was named the 2007 organization of the year by the Montrose Chamber of Commerce and has received public recognition from Congressmen Adam Schiff and David Drier; State Senators Jack Scott and Bob Margett; Assemblymemers Dario Frommer, Paul Krekorian, and Anthony Adams; and the Crescenta Valley Town Council.
